Manalapan New Jersey Restorative Dentist Sponsoring Marine Toys for Tots Program to Give Children in Need Free Toys for the Holidays
Manalapan, New Jersey, December 6, 2016
Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey (SDNJ), a restorative and cosmetic prosthodontic dental practice in Manalapan, is participating in the popular Toys for Tots program, an annual event designed to help the community’s less fortunate and provide children with toys for the holidays.
It’s that time of the season, and one Manalapan dental practice is in the gift-giving spirit by sponsoring a popular holiday program that gives brand new toys to children in need. From now until December 20th, Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. James Courey and Dr. Joseph Zagami are accepting donations of toys and cash for the Marine Toys for Tots program. All donated toys will be delivered on the 20th to Toys for Tots for distribution to local children who are less fortunate than others. Any cash donations received will be spent on toys. This is the first year that Dr. Courey’s practice has participated in the toy drive, and team members say they are just happy to be a part of it. “It's a privilege and a responsibility to give to those in need. All kids deserve a present to open at Christmas time.”
Dr. Courey and Dr. Zagami are established prosthodontic and dental implant specialists serving Manalapan, New York City and the surrounding areas. Dr. Courey is nine-time New Jersey Monthly Magazine Top Dentist and member of their Advisory Board since its inception.
About Toys for Tots
Begun in 1947 by Colonel William L. Hendricks, at the time a Major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, the Marine Toys for Tots program has collected and distributed toys to needy children for more than 60 years and has drop-off locations in communities large and small all over the nation. Over 400 million toys have been distributed to more than 188 million less fortunate children since the program began. Toys for Tots was designated by the U.S. Secretary of Defense as an official activity of the U.S. Marine Corps and an official mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in 1995.
Although the toy drive ends on December 20th, team members at Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey say the office will not close for the holidays until December 24th. Offering a range of dental procedures, such as dental implants, crowns, and porcelain dental veneers in Manalapan, New Jersey, Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey will re-open on December 26th. The practice is also always reachable through an emergency phone number for those with any dental problems or concerns over the holiday break.
Team members at SDNJ say they have the most wonderful and generous patients and expect to have a nice turn-out for donations to the Toys for Tots program. “It’s a wonderful expression of care and concern for children that are in need.”
