Dr. Nicholas Diaz is driven to deliver his patients the ultimate experience so they will be encouraged to maintain their dental and oral health for the rest of their lives.
Dr. Nicholas A. Diaz, originally from Staten Island, New York has settled in Middlesex County, NJ. His passion for dentistry started at a young age. He was fascinated by his childhood dentist who was personable, kind, and helpful within the community. Dr. Diaz was specifically recruited to join Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey because of his reputation for being a meticulous and conscientious general dentist.
Dr. Diaz earned his Bachelor’s degree at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. During his summers, he worked for a youth nonprofit organization in New York City. He continued his education and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA. Throughout his experience in dental school, his passion for dentistry continued to grow especially as he served underprivileged communities while participating in the Virginia Mission of Mercy Projects and The Jamaica Project. One of Dr. Diaz’s greatest experiences was traveling to Jamaica and providing dental care to individuals who had no access to care.
After graduation, Dr. Diaz completed a General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ where he worked alongside some of New Jersey’s top dental providers spanning all fields of dentistry. During his residency he became proficient in the areas of Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Crown and Bridge, working with medically compromised patients, and providing comprehensive care. He is committed to a lifetime of learning and has a pair of publications in The Journal of Dental Education. In addition, he is an Invisalign provider while also being an active member of The American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), Middlesex County Dental Society (MCDS), Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity, and Representative for Middlesex County New Dentist Council.
After serving patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, and their yellow Labrador Retriever, Stella. They are very passionate about spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors. He is a sports enthusiast and a proud supporter of New York sport teams.
Dr. Diaz centers his work on providing the ultimate patient experience. He treats his patients like family and his patient-centered care philosophy makes him one of the best general and family dentists in Manalapan.
Dr. Diaz is bilingual and welcomes those who speak Spanish as their first language.
