Dr. Blumberger and the team of SDNJ's top priority is to always save your natural teeth if possible. Tooth- saving root canal therapy is the first line of defense when a tooth become vulnerable due to deep cavities, pulpal inflammation, and infection.
Dr. Blumberger grew up in Little Silver, New Jersey. She attended Tulane University after receiving a full academic scholarship. She went on to attend Tuft University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, receiving both the Hunt and Merit Scholarships for scholastic achievement. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Blumberger completed a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. She spent the next 5 years providing care as a General Dentist in NYC and as an adjust clinical instructor at NYC College of Dentistry.
She went on to complete a post-graduate residency program in Endodontics at NYU College of Dentistry, earning her Specialist Degree in 2007.
Dr. Blumberger is an active philanthropist and volunteer. In 2003, she set up dental clinics in underprivileged areas of the Dominican Republic. In 2004, she went on outreach trip to Jamaica, where she volunteered and performed dental work in rural communities with NYC College of Dentistry.
Dr. Blumberger is also the mother of three beautiful children and enjoys sailing, running, and playing piano.
